Unable to select language in markup text area's Code Snippet tool

When trying to click the 'Select Language' dropdown while using the code snippet tool, the dropdown loses focus and disappears. On the second try the dropdown stays active, but doesn't disappear after selecting the language.

It is probably a bug in the atlaskit package used, future patches might solve this. At the time of this bug report the atlaskit versions were as follows:
