Move plugin storage system to Active Objects

The current version stores all the information as property objects, some of them using json notation. As the configuration will increase complexity, we need to move to a relational format. Active objects is the way to go.

Once we deliver this functionality, we will need to add a upgrade process, converting from property objects to active objects.
