Xporter will generate a "Blank Report" if exporting a Test from a Test Set that contains Cucumber Scenario and Test Run Status.

Description

Xporter will generate a "Blank Report" if exporting a Test from a Test Set that contains Cucumber Scenario and Test Run Status. 

 

This will happen only if the template contains mappings from both Cucumber Scenario and Test Run Status and at least one of the Tests exported have something in the Cucumber Scenario Field.

If any of this Mappings (Test Run or Cucumber Scenario) is exported independently, they will be exported without a problem regardless of their value.

• Testing template:Template_TestRunStatus_CucumberScenario-1.docx

 

How to reproduce

1. Create a Test Set.

1. Create a Cucumber Test with something in the Cucumber Scenario Field.

1. Optional: Another Cucumber Test without a value in the Cucumber Scenario Field can be created and used to test the report. 

1. Create a Test Execution for the Cucumber Test.

1. Add The Cucumber Test within the Test Set.

1. Export the Testing Template (attached above) from the Test Set.

Actual result/Attachments

 

If a Test with Cucumber Scenario is exported, the report will be generated in blank:

 

If no cucumber scenario is present in the Test, the report will generate exporting all the information:

 

 

Expected result

The report will be generated correctly with all the mappings inside regardless of the Cucumber Scenario or Test Run values.

Workaround

Remove either the Test Run Status Mapping or the Cucumber Scenario Mapping sections, and the report will be generated correctly.
