cell with date is not correctly formatted

using the template sergio_reports.xlsx, whenever exporting some Xray Test Executions, in the tab "TestRuns" of the output spreadsheet, in column E and F, although they were originaly formatted as a date field, it is being presented as text. if the user hits enter in the cell, then Excel is able to understand it is a date though
