Template Mappings to export data from External Jira Instance Issue Links do not work correctly. ** 

 

When trying to export information from a Linked Issue that is link to an External Jira Instance, the mappings for "Key" will not show and the mapping for "Summary" will show the Issue Key value.

 

Pre-conditions

We need to have 2 Jira Cloud Instances linked between them.

 

How to reproduce

1. Instance A is having Issues with links to Issues in Instance A and Instance B. 

1. Create a Template report that export data from Issue Links (Iterating Issue Links), printing key and summary data.
2. Generate this report from an Issue in Instance A that was links to Issues in Instance A and Instance B.

Actual result/Attachments

• Links that are from the same Instance A, will generate all Link information correctly. 

• Links  that are from the external Instance B, will not generate the info correctly: 
  • ${Links[n].Key} mapping will show as blank
  • ${Links[n].Summary} will show the Issue Key of the linked Issue

 

 

Expected result

All Link mappings should work the same regardless if they are from an External Jira Instance, printing the same Fields.
