Description
Description
When migrating permission schemes, if a permission scheme is associated with more than 249 projects, not all project associations are migrated. As a result, some projects are missing from the permission scheme after the migration completes.
Pre-conditions
- A source Jira instance contains a permission scheme associated with more than 249 projects.
- A migration is performed to the destination instance.
How to reproduce
1. Create a permission scheme associated with more than 249 projects.
2. Perform a migration of the permission scheme.
3. After the migration completes, compare the projects associated with the permission scheme in the source and destination instances.
Actual result/Attachments
Only a subset of the projects associated with the permission scheme are migrated. Projects beyond the 249-project threshold are not associated with the migrated permission scheme.
Expected result
All projects associated with the permission scheme in the source instance should remain associated with the corresponding permission scheme in the destination instance, regardless of the total number of associated projects.
Version
7.4.4 from DC
Workaround
Configure Xporter to override the permission scheme associations after the migration.
