The "updated" field in the Jira API search endpoint is not reflecting the correct date when adding a Test to an existing Test Execution

When we add a Test to an existing Test Execution through the test screen in the test run section, the "updated" field is correctly modified. However, when we call the Jira API search endpoint, the "updated" field does not reflect this change.
How to reproduce

1. Create a new test issue
2. Create a new test execution issue
3. In the Test issue details, go to the Test Runs section and click "Execute In" then "Existing Test Execution"
4. Add the test to the previously created Test Execution
5. Do an API call to http://BaseURL/rest/api/latest/search?jql=id=IssueId

Actual result/Attachments

The "updated" date does not match the Update in the issue

Expected result:

The "updated" date is the same in the Test issue and in the Search Test issue
