Description
A new JIRA gadget "Test Execution Duration Trend" should provide a trend chart for showing the overall elapsed execution time (the sum of the elapsed time of the test runs in a final status) for multiple Test Execution (e.g. from a Test Plan, a version).
Aim: This chart will provide the means to analyze several key factors:
- (automated) testing performance (where are the "pains" impacting CI and feedback to users)
- how code (tests+SUT) is evolving between different code revisions
xx: date
yy: duration
Group: person, component, label, priority or none
Filters:
- saved filter (for finding Test Executions)
- testplan or project+version
- test run's assignee, status, priority, component
- test environment
- test type
Chart Title: by default "Test Execution Duration Trend" but may be customized
