historic requirement coverage report/gadget does not show accurate values for uncovered vs not run

The historic requirement coverage report/gadget does not show accurate values for the status "uncovered" vs "not run", being unable to proper identify whenever requirements where effectively covered.

If a requirement with yet no Tests associated, is covered today by one or more Tests, then the historic coverage chart shows the requirement as being covered (i.e.g "NOT RUN") for today and also for all the past days.
