    Description

We have a requirement with over 100 test cases covering it, when we click on the button to create a sub test execution the screen pops up to create it. After entering all of the information in and clicking on Create, the screen disables and you wait for a couple minutes. Eventually the screen enables again but the screen doesn't close like normal when creating an issue. If you click on create again, it does the same thing. Then I closed the screen because I couldn't get it to save, but I can see in the activity stream that it's still updating the execution and tests - eventually the sub test execution gets created after several minutes. This i can reproduce consistently.

The more pressing issue is that eventually this behavior is crashing our jira instance completely. It's happened twice for use when we were working with the same requirements and sub test executions over the last week or so. It seems that JIRA gets flooded and then stops responding forcing us to restart the instance. I think that repeating the steps above a few times will get the crash to happen but we have 100 JIRA users and I can't intentionally crash the application.

For the time being we are not working with these requirements in hopes of a fix, but we are under very tight deadlines to complete the testing for it.
