If an issue type is selected as default in the Issue Type Scheme configurations, when creating a Defect from a Test Run page, the default issue type is presented instead of the Defect issue type configured in the Issue Type Mapping for Defects.

How to reproduce

1. Go to Jira Administration >> Issues >> Issue Types Scheme
2. Open the desired Issue Type Scheme and define, for example, Test as the default issue type:
   
3. Navigate to a Test Execution and create a Defect.

Actual result/Attachments

We ignore the mapped Defect issue type and assume the default one for this issue type scheme.

Expected result

The issue type presented should be the one we configured in the Issue Type Mapping to be seen as a Defect.
