That is the reason why I made this proposal. It would be great if generic tests would also be supported. This would mean...
A field in the synchronization area must be available where the Definition (path to the test suite) can be provided
For each test case in the script, a test in Xray will be created with the provided Definition.
The TestID's will be assigned to the test case in the script
The Test Set name will be assigned to the test case in the script
The test script can then be exported to Robot Framework
