Description
Description
If a user does not have permission to Edit issues, he cannot be assigned to Test Runs. Note that only Resolve permission should be necessary.
How to reproduce
- Create a user and grant only Browse and Resolve permissions.
- Create a New Test Execution
- As admin, assign the Test Run to the user created in 1.
- An error message is thrown indicating: "An error occurred while assigning Test Runs. User ___ does not have permission to execute in this test execution"
Actual result/Attachments
(find GIF attached)
Note:
- When assigning this user as the Issue Assignee, the Test Run is automatically assigned to this user.
- The user is now able to Execute the Test Run
Expected result
To be able to execute, the user must only have permission to Resolve Issues
Version
- 7.4.1-j9
