Description
Description
It would be good if the total number of tests associated with a Test Plan were clickable—similar to the behavior in the Data Center version—so that it redirects me to the issue navigator with the corresponding JQL.
User friction
Users cannot quickly access the list of Tests within a Test Plan by clicking the total count, unlike in the Data Center. This creates unnecessary steps and slows navigation.
Steps to reproduce (right now) / Actual Result:
- Open a Test Plan.
- Locate the total number of associated Tests.
- Click the number.
Actual Result:
The number is not clickable and does not redirect to the issue navigator.
IMPACT
What would improve if solved:
Users could instantly navigate to the filtered list of Tests via JQL, improving efficiency and aligning behavior with the Data Center.
Impact on stakeholders:
- Faster access to test details and execution planning
- Improved visibility and quicker reporting.
- Reduced friction and better consistency.
Current workaround:
Users manually create or reuse JQL queries to find the Tests linked to the Test Plan.
CONTEXT & EXAMPLES:
Concrete example:
A Test Plan shows “120 Tests.” Instead of clicking the number, the user must manually search using JQL.
Workaround risk:
Manual JQL entry is error-prone, time-consuming, and may lead to incorrect or incomplete results.
