Description
Description
As a user, I want to filter tests by execution status when adding them to a Test Execution, so I can quickly find and select relevant tests
User friction
Users cannot easily find relevant tests when adding them to a Test Execution because there is no way to filter by execution status. This leads to time-consuming manual searching and selection.
Steps to reproduce (right now) / Actual Result:
- Open a Test Execution
- Click to add Existing Test
- Go to the Search Tab
- Attempt to locate tests based on their execution status.
Actual Result:
There is no option to filter tests by Execution Status
IMPACT
What would improve if solved:
Faster and more efficient test selection, reduced manual effort, and improved usability when managing Test Executions
Impact on stakeholders:
QA engineers and testers save time and reduce errors. Teams benefit from more efficient test management and execution workflows
Current workaround:
Manually searching, sorting, or reviewing tests one by one to identify the desired execution status.
CONTEXT & EXAMPLES:
Concrete example:
A tester wants to add only failed tests from a previous cycle to a new Test Execution, but must manually identify them from a long list.
Workaround risk:
High risk of missing relevant tests or selecting incorrect ones, leading to incomplete or inaccurate test coverage.
