Deleting selected characters in a Test Run Custom Field(Text type) removes one additional character

Description
Deleting selected characters from a Test Run Custom Field of Text type also deletes one additional adjacent character.

Pre-conditions
A Test Run Custom Field of type Text is configured.

How to reproduce

1. Open a Test Run
2. Edit the Test Run Custom Field
3. Select/highlight a few characters in the text
4. Press backspace or delete

Actual result/Attachments
The selected characters and one additional adjacent character are deleted.

Expected result
Only the selected characters should be deleted.

Workaround
Manually re-enter the additional character that was incorrectly deleted before saving the field.
