Description
Description
User friction
In Xray Cloud, users can see test counts directly within the Test Repository, but in the Test Sets Repository / Test Sets list, test counts are not displayed in parentheses next to the Test Set names. Users must click directly into each individual Test Set to view the test count in the details pane on the right, creating unnecessary friction when reviewing multiple sets.
Steps to reproduce (right now) / Actual Result
Open the Test Sets section / Test Sets Repository in Xray Cloud.
Observe the list of Test Sets.
Actual Result: Test Set names are displayed without any test count indicators in parentheses beside them. The count is only visible after selecting/clicking a Test Set to load its details pane on the right.
Impact
What would improve if solved
Displaying test counts in parentheses directly beside the Test Set names in the repository list will give QA teams and managers instant visibility into the size of each Test Set without needing to click into them individually.
Impact on stakeholders
QA Leads / Managers: Quickly evaluate Test Set scope and suite readiness during sprint planning.
Testers: Easily identify filled vs. empty Test Sets directly from the list view.
Current workaround
Clicking on each Test Set one by one to check the count panel on the right side of the screen.
Context & Examples
Concrete example
In the Test Sets Repository list, display the total number of linked tests directly beside each Test Set name, e.g., Payment Regression (15) or Smoke Suite (8).
The test count in parentheses should update dynamically whenever tests are added to or removed from the Test Set.
Workaround risk
Checking set sizes manually by clicking through every Test Set is tedious, time-consuming, and slows down overall test execution and reporting workflows.
