Test Runs List Report remains in a continuous loading State in Project 1 without results or errors when Test Run Status = "TO DO" or one specific Test Plan is selected

Description

• Customer reports that the Test Runs List report in Reporting Center cannot be generated for the Project 1 when the Project filter is selected together with Test Run Status = "TO DO" and no Date Range filter is applied.

• The same issue is also reproducible when one specific Test Plan is selected under the Test Execution filter. Affected Test Plan Key contains approximately 964 Test Runs and 276 Test Executions. The customer is able to generate the report for other Test Plans in the same project.

• For all users tested, the report page remains in the loading state and does not display the results or an error message.

• The same users are able to generate the report successfully for the Project 1 with other Test Run Status values such as PASSED and FAILED. The report also generates successfully with Test Run Status = "TO DO" when the Date Range filter is enabled with only Past 24 hours.

Summary of the Issue:

• The Test Runs List report is not generated for the Project 1 when Test Run Status = "TO DO" is selected without a Date Range filter. The same behavior is observed when one specific Test Plan is selected together with the SPARK project and Test Run Status = "TO DO".

• For both scenarios, the report remains in the loading state and does not display the results or an error message.

• The report generates successfully for the Project 1 when Test Run Status = "PASSED" or "FAILED".

• For Test Run Status = "TO DO", the report also generates successfully when the Date Range filter is enabled with Time Frame = "Past 24 hours".

• The issue was reproduced for both the Project-level filter scenario and the specific Test Plan scenario.

Steps to reproduce

Scenario 1 - Project filter with Test Run Status “TO DO”

1. Open Reporting Center > Test Runs List.
2. Select Project 1.
3. Select Test Run Status = TO DO.
4. Do not enable the Date Range filter.
5. Apply the filters.
6. Generate the report.

Scenario 2 - Project filter with Specific Test Plan

1. Open Reporting Center > Test Runs List.
2. Select Project 1.
3. Select Test Run Status = TO DO.
4. Under the Test Execution filter, choose the affected Test Plan
5. Do not enable the Date Range filter.
6. Apply the filters.
7. Generate the report.

Actual result/Attachments

The page remains in the loading state and the Test Runs List report does not render.

Expected result

The Test Runs List report should generate and display the results successfully according to the filters selected

Workaround

Generate the report in smaller parts by applying a Date Range filter, selecting fewer Test Executions, or removing the Defect columns from the report. This may improve report generation performance and allow the report to load successfully.
