Merge during Execution is not working for Cucumber Scenario Outline Tests

Pre-conditions
Cucumber Test with Scenario Outline and Several Examples

How to reproduce

1. Enter the Execution and manually add Test Statuses to some of the Existing Examples
2. Access the Test Case and add a couple more Examples
3. The "Test definition has been modified." prompt shows up; select the "Merge" option

Actual result/Attachments
There is an error, and all Examples are reset

Expected result
The Merge operation is successful and unchanged Examples of Statuses are kept
