The defects created during the Test Run are not getting linked to the parent issue

Description
The defect created during the Test Run is not getting linked to the parent issue. They are linked to the coverage issues (story), but the parent isn't linked either.

Pre-conditions

How to reproduce

1. Create an Epic and Story and link them by parent field
2. Create a Test on the Story
3. Execute that Test
4. Create a defect

Actual result/Attachments
Defect should be linked to both Story and Epic

Expected result
Only linked to Story

Workaround
Manually link to the Parent/Epic issue
