As a user, I should be able to resize the execution screen and assure responsiveness

The responsiveness of the execution screen should be improved, at least to a certain point, so that resizing the window won't make the execution screen useless.
Namely, when resizing the window, the step position in the window should be kept, so the step context is not lost.
