Major Description
This has been occurring since the last upgrade we took
a development user deletes a story from an Agile development project
it appears to delete normally/without error
On examination there is then a record left at the bottom of that projects backlog
This cannot be opened - it is deleted
This may still appear in some reporting
The presence of this record acts to disable the "Send issue to the bottom of the backlog" RMC action for scrum ordering. the "Issue deleted" error pops up.
Due to the presence of these at the bottom of the backlog - the system can no longer find the bottom of the backlog
The only way to remove these issues is by a system reindex to remove this data integrity error
Atlassian have fully investigated this with a fully anonymised copy of our system. They have pinpointed that this is being caused only when Xray is enabled
please advise which release a fix for this can be found in.
